This 1.97-carat Pink Sapphire gemstone features the Starbrite™ cut.
Large rich pink oval sapphire with our cutting and good clarity. Although this gem does have some very small dust speck like crystalline inclusions typical of natural pink sapphire from Madagascar that might show up in the images in person they either are not visible or do not distract from the overall beauty of the gem. Keep in mind that the image is far larger than the gem in real life so usually the image shows much more inclusions than the gem does in hand.
This gem is also very large for the carat weight because it is not a deep cut. This allows the gem to be set lower in a ring and not snag on things much when worn which is a great advantage for an engagement ring or other everyday wear ring.
