This 3.05-carat Purple Pink Sapphire gemstone features the Starbrite™ cut.
A rare large size purple pink cushion shaped sapphire with our designer cut which gives the gem lots of brilliance while allowing it to be shallow which means that you can set it very low in a ring. Accompanied by a GIA lab report stating "No Indications of Heating".
This shallower cut is especially handy for an engagement ring as setting the gem low means that as it is worn every day it is less likely to snag on things. It also means that you get a far larger looking gem for your money since the deeper the gem is the heavier and more expensive it is, even though that doesn't make it look bigger from the front.
